Located at 3510 Terry Road, Riverside isn’t your typical coffee spot. It’s a worker-owned, youth-led, community-controlled cooperative that’s serving more than drinks. On Saturdays, Rani ki Sweet, the in-house café, offers pour-over coffee from Mississippi roasters, house-made ice cream, and fresh meals sourced from local gardens.
But the vibe runs deeper than the menu. Riverside is part hangout, part classroom, part neighborhood revival project. Students aren’t just employees, they’re co-owners learning real entrepreneurship, from staffing to strategy.
