MISSISSIPPI – If you’re a CTE or STEM educator ready to build new classroom skills with immersive tech, you’ll want to act fast. Registration closes today, February 17, 2026. The online professional development webinar “Immersive Media Deep Dive: Transforming Classrooms with 360 Video & VR” takes place February 19–20, 2026 and offers hands-on instruction you can use immediately in your classroom.
This webinar is led by Lobaki, Mississippi’s first software development studio dedicated to creating Virtual Reality learning experiences for education and training. With projects in more than 100 schools across six states, Lobaki specializes in immersive curriculum content that helps students explore abstract concepts and real-world scenarios through engaging digital tools that enhance learning and prepare students for future careers.
What You’ll Learn Over Two Days
Across two afternoons online via Microsoft Teams, participants will move from foundational tools to advanced VR creation.
Day 1: Mastering 360° Video in Education
You’ll learn how to shoot, stitch, edit, and deploy 360° video, turning real-world immersive experiences into classroom assets. Teachers will also explore ways to blend 360° footage with computer-generated imagery to build hybrid lessons.
Day 2: Building Interactive VR with 3D Tools
This session introduces advanced 3D modeling and interactive application design using industry tools like Unity and Unreal Engine. You’ll explore three key types of VR content: informational experiences, identification practice modules, and procedure demonstrations, with examples taken from Lobaki’s educational VR catalog.
Participants receive ready-to-use templates and instructional resources, plus access to Lobaki’s VR specialists for continued guidance after the webinar ends.
Expert Presenters From the Field
You’ll learn from three experienced creators on Lobaki’s production team:
- Zack Davenport, Director of Production, has a background in mechanical engineering and STEM curriculum design and leads the development of immersive training tools aligned with classroom learning goals.
- Vinny Jordan, Co-Founder, brings decades of experience in videography, motion graphics, 3D animation, and software development.
- Garrison Gager, Lead 3D Artist, specializes in optimized 3D modeling and VR application performance to ensure high-quality experiences across platforms.
These instructors bring professional production skills into an educational setting built specifically for teachers, focusing on practical tools you can apply right away.
Why This Matters Now
Immersive media, especially VR and 360° content, is expanding in education because it helps students:
- Visualize complex structures and systems
- Engage more deeply in experiential learning
- Practice real-world scenarios safely and repeatedly
As schools prioritize career-aligned learning and workforce skills, these tools are becoming increasingly valuable in CTE and STEM classrooms.
This webinar awards 0.5 CEU credits and is designed for educators who want to integrate workforce-relevant technologies such as interactive media creation, 3D modeling, and virtual application development into their curriculum.
